Juist D66 bewees zich als tegenkracht voor Wilders, niet GroenLinks-PvdA, ziet Bas Heijne. Jetten zet Nederland niet neer als belaagd, maar als pragmatisch en optimistisch.
Hij (Wilders) had opzichtig gefaald met ‘zijn’ regering, zelfs de VVD had haar lesje geleerd en sloot hem uit, en in de debatten waar hij wél aan meedeed trof hij een generatie politici tegenover zich die, anders dan de voorgaande, niet bang voor hem zijn. Je zag een nieuwe lichting politici zich van Wilders bevrijden. Het was een plezier om naar te kijken.
